The A1, A2 and B1 decks don't overlap: A2 has only the words that are new after A1, and B1 the words new after A1 and A2.

German A1 Vocabulary
852 words and phrases for complete beginners, from the Goethe-Institut A1 exam list. Each card has the German word with audio, its article and plural, the English meaning, and an example sentence with audio and translation.
German A2 Vocabulary
661 words for elementary learners, the Goethe-Institut A2 exam words that are new after A1. Each card has the word with audio, its article and plural or its verb forms, the English meaning and up to two example sentences with audio and translation.
German B1 Vocabulary
1,528 words for intermediate learners, the Goethe-Institut B1 exam words that are new after A1 and A2. Each card has the word with audio, its article and plural or its verb forms, the English meaning and up to two example sentences with audio and translation.
German Frequency 5000
The 5,000 most common German words, from beginner to advanced, most frequent first. Each card has the word with audio, its level (A1 to B2+), pronunciation, the English meaning and an example sentence with audio and translation. Verbs show their present tense, and about half the cards have a picture.

3,489 German sentences for intermediate to advanced learners, from everyday lines to harder ones. Each card has the German sentence with audio and its English translation.

German flashcards: questions
Do the German decks show noun gender?
Yes. The A1, A2 and B1 decks show each noun with its article and plural, for example "die Familie, -n".
Are these the Goethe-Institut exam word lists?
The A1 (852 words and phrases), A2 (661) and B1 (1,528) decks follow the Goethe-Institut exam word lists. Each card has the word, its English meaning and an example sentence with a translation (A2 and B1 cards have up to two).
Do the German decks have audio?
All five do. In the vocabulary decks, the example sentences have audio too. German Frequency 5000 also shows each word's level, from A1 to B2+.
Is Decks free?
Yes. Library decks are included. The free plan has a daily review limit; Premium lets you set your own.
What is spaced repetition?
Reviewing each card at growing intervals, timed for just before you'd forget it. Cards you know come back less often; cards you miss come back sooner. Decks uses SM-2, the algorithm Anki was built on.
