Questions
Do the Japanese decks have furigana?
Yes. The JLPT decks, Core 2000, Core 6000 and Tae Kim's grammar sentences show the reading above each kanji, the way furigana is printed in learner books.
Are there JLPT vocabulary decks?
Yes, one per level: N5 (667 words), N4 (630), N3 (1,647), N2 (1,737) and N1 (3,053). Each card has the word with furigana, its meaning, an example sentence and audio. The JLPT itself has not published official vocabulary lists since 2010, so any JLPT word list is an unofficial one.
Is this like the Anki Core 2000 / Core 6000 deck?
It covers the same frequency-ordered vocabulary, with audio, furigana and an example sentence per word, and it is ready to study in the app with no import step. Core 6000 uses cloze cards: you fill in the missing word from the sentence.
Can I learn hiragana and katakana with these decks?
Yes. The Hiragana deck has all 46 characters and the Katakana deck all 104, each card with pronunciation audio.
